Huw will sing the role of Ned Keene in britten’s masterpiece, Peter Grimes in next years Enescu Festival. Conducted by Paul Daniel with the Romanian National Radio Orchestra and Radio Academic Choir.
Huw makes his role debut as the Prince of Mantua in Offenbach’s rarely performed opera, Fantasio.

Huw will sing the role of Marcello in a new production of La Boheme at the Komische Oper in Berlin.
The new production will be directed by Barrie Kosky and conducted by Jordan de Souza
Huw will reprise the role of Harlekin at the theatre Champs Elysee in March 2019.
This is a co Production with Aix en Provence where Huw will sing the role this summer.

Huw has been chosen as a member of the highly acclaimed YSP of the Salzburg Festival. There he will sing the role of second Apprentice in Wozzeck directed by William Kentridge and conducted by Vladimir Jurowski with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
Huw Debuts the role of Ramiro in L'Heure Espagnole in Zürich. Directed by Jan Essinger and conducted by Pavel Baleff.
Huw Montague Rendall has been selected to win the much coveted Sir John Christie prize at Glyndebourne. He joins the ranks of many distinguished artists, such as, Ryland Davies, Richard Van Allan, Linda Esther Gray, Sir John Tomlinson, Gerald Finley, Alfie Boe, Kate Royal, Matthew Rose, Allan Clayton, Duncan Rock and Louise Alder.
